Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, but my journey became deeply personal through my mother, Anne. She lived with dementia for over a decade before passing in 2019, and walking alongside her through those years changed me forever.

I experienced firsthand both the beauty and the challenges of caregiving—the moments of connection, but also the heartbreak of seeing gaps in the system. Too often, care felt rushed, understaffed, and impersonal. I knew families—and their loved ones—deserved better.

That’s what led me to create Anne’s Harbor. A place named in her honor, built on the belief that care should feel like home—safe, calm, and deeply personal.

My vision is to provide individualized, compassionate care where each resident is truly known and valued. Just as importantly, I want to create an environment where caregivers feel supported and empowered, because that’s what allows genuine, attentive care to flourish.
